No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies. None at all. That is why you were not asked to accept any.

What the site does store

If background music is switched on, the site remembers two things in your browser's own storage, never in a cookie and never sent to us:

• That you turned the sound off, so it stays off on your next visit.
• How far through the track you were, so moving between pages does not restart it. This one is cleared when you close the tab.

Both live only on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them. Nobody, including us, can read them.

Requests that leave your browser

Loading a page sends a request to nobody but this site. The typefaces are served from here rather than from Google, so no third party sees you arrive. One exception, and only if you act:

• YouTube or Vimeo, but only after you click to play a film. Until then nothing loads from either, and no request is made. Films are embedded through YouTube's no-cookie domain.

If this changes

Adding analytics or an advertising tag later would mean cookies, and would mean asking your permission first where the law requires it. If that happens, this page changes and the date above changes with it.
